Description
Verbal Reasoning Yes or No? True or False? - A Question Comprehension Language Processing Game is designed to strengthen language processing, question comprehension, and critical thinking skills. Answering yes/no and true/false questions supports the development of attention, comprehension and reasoning. They are foundational receptive language skills that reflect verbal reasoning and critical thinking. They target:
1. Critical Thinking and Verbal Reasoning: Students evaluate auditory or written information
2. Receptive Language Processing: Students interpret the meaning of the information presented
3. Comprehension and Conclusion: Student determine if information presented was factually correct
There are four card decks and two sets of cards for each deck. The first set for each card deck includes a visual prompt for each question and the second set asks questions without a visual prompt: Yes or No? with visual cue, Yes or No? without visual cue, True or False? with visual cue, and True or False? without visual cue. Students answer each question then take a turn on the game chosen by the instructor.
