Depending on the ability level, this activity can take between 2-15 minutes. Download the file for suggested extension activities.

2012 TEKS:

6.11A: Measurement and data. The student applies mathematical process standards to use coordinate geometry to identify locations on a plane. The student is expected to graph points in all four quadrants using ordered pairs of rational numbers.

This resource was good for my middle school students who do not have IEPs, yet they have math challenges that keep them from being successful in the general math classroom. They come to my class for math support. This resource breaks down the information in ways that meet the needs of most of my learners. I do have a high ESOL population, so I would be interested in some of these activities being offered in other languages.
