Are my students retaining information?? This journal helps students gather their thoughts about the lesson they learned for the day. Students will draw a picture that summarizes the information they learned. I would suggest playing instrumental music while your students draw. This helps stimulate their thought process. :) After they finish their drawings, they will complete the bottom section of their Reflection Journal. Students are able to describe their picture in this section. I generally use this at end of the day or at the end of the period.
