Description

A no print, no-prep resource for your students to reflect points/shapes across the X and Y axis. They include 10 multi-step problems, with five slides requiring that students reflect across the x axis and five slides requiring students to reflect across the y axis. This activity allows students to reflect 35 different points. This independent practice activity builds computer and math skills at the same time!

Students first identify the coordinates of the given points. They will then use the rule for reflecting across the given axis to alter the original coordinates. Lastly, they will drag and drop new points to their new coordinates to show the reflection.

What a great activity! I did it as a scoot which got students up and moving while practising reflections!

This was definitely a no-prep resource and my 8th-graders were very engaged. The only thing I adapted was actually moving the reflected points. Most of my students don't have mice and it was hard for them to move the points on their mousepads. Will definitely use it again!
