Description
Fact Fun Turn Arounds is a NO PREP math activity to help students understand the commutative property of addition and increase fact fluency. All you need to set up your center are the recording sheets and a tub of 2-sided counters. Children gather the number of counters they need for the recording sheet they are working with, toss them, and color to record their addends. Next, they use their model to help them write two equations. Their first fact will begin with the red number and their second fact will begin with the yellow number. This is a great hands-on way to reinforce beginning addition concepts. Recording Sheets for sums 4-10 are included.
