Description

This is a goal-setting tool that can be used for all grades from first through eighth. There are four different versions of the template, only the early Primary version does not require parent/teacher signatures. The pages meant for 2nd through 8th Grades also include a box where the child indicates that they have reviewed their report cards with their families. I have included a copy of each of those templates without the checkbox should you find that one more appropriate for your needs.

I have my students complete the reflection a day or two after they receive their Report Cards. As teachers we devote a great deal of time in writing our reports and it’s important that we capitalize on this opportunity for our students to use them to set goals for themselves. Throughout the course of the term, I’ll have my students pull out their Reflection in order to monitor their progress. If they need to revise their goals, they can. It becomes a working document in many ways.

Thank you so much for visiting my store. I hope you find this resource to be as useful as I do.

Your comments and feedback are appreciated. Please let me know if you would like this template customized to better suit your needs, I’d be happy to tweak it for you.

My students were able to complete this with little assistance and share it with their parents. I would definitely recommend this to others.
