Description

In this notes activity, students will create a dotplot, boxplot, and histogram. They will then interpret the data to answer questions. When completed, the notes page can be folded into students' interactive notebooks.

An editable PowerPoint is also included that follows the printed notes. The PowerPoint includes extra questions that can be used as more practice or class discussions.

There are two options of the notes that can be printed. The first option has the data in order from least to greatest, and the number lines/histograms labeled. The second option has unordered data and blank number lines/histograms.

Note: If you are having problems printing, please make sure you select "fit to page" and/or "fit to printable area" before clicking print.

These notes can be covered in one class period or used over the course of three days depending on students' familiarity of the concepts.
