Description

This resource will help you get your minimally verbal or AAC users to use core words to request help after viewing real life scenarios. If your students struggle to ask for someone to tie their shoe or to tell someone they are in pain, this is the resource for you. Two editable forms are included so that you can make either Level 1 or Level 2 fit what you need. Wondering if this is what you need? PRINT out the FREE SAMPLES in the preview!

There are two levels in this resource;

LEVEL 1:

Pictured scenario

Problem (a boy can't reach a book)

Question Cue: "What does he need to say?

Answer: "I need help"

All answers at this level end with "I need help" for maximum generalization using highly repetitive text.

LEVEL 2:

Pictured scenario

Problem (a boy can't reach a book)

Question: "What does he need to say?"

Answer: "I need the book" using more novel responses that are still simple.

These cards can be reduced to Iris box sizes for easy grab and go traveling. Laminate them and place them on book rings to give to your students!

This unit also contains a BONUS file called "Emotion Emojis" for talking about simple emotions with your students. See the preview slides for more visuals.
