Description

This is a fun way to practicing adding skills!! This is a group activity that requires at least two people. (In a home setting the mom can be the customer while the child is the waiter). The "waiter" will take orders from the "customer" and then will add up the prices of selected items and give the "customer" a guest check with the total. You can also add in money skills by giving the customer play money to pay for the meal with. It can even be taken a step further by requiring the "waiter" to make change!

I have found it easiest to laminate the menu (making several copies if you have more than one customer) and laminate the waiter tab sheet. The waiter can use a dry erase marker on the laminated tab sheet so that it can be erased and used over and over again.

The guest tab sheet has 6 to a page. You can either print off many and cut and use one for each transaction or you can print one page and cut out the six on that page and laminate them and then use a dry erase marker so that they can be used over and over again.
