Trigonometry Task Cards
Students will practice finding sine, cosine, and tangent ratios, and find missing side and angle measures by working through these 20 task cards. The cards are organized as follows:
Cards 1-3: Find sine, cosine, and tangent ratios.
Cards 4-9: Find missing sides.
Cards 10-15: Find missing angles.
Cards 16-20: Applications (includes angle of elevation and angle of depression)
The Pythagorean Theorem is required on a couple problems in order to find a missing side length to complete a ratio.
A recording worksheet is included for students to show work. They can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code. However, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download.
If you haven't used QR codes in your classroom yet, I highly recommend them! Students love using the technology, and the self-checking makes it easier on the teacher!
