Description
The attached file was created for a 5-9th grade STEM class that were experimenting with beginning robot design and programming. We were using the Lego Mindstorm robots, but I believe these challenges could be used or adapted for any robotic programming set. Students began this unit by building the base robot model. This bundle includes all challenges, and a BONUS student team checklist that students use to track what they have completed/grade expectations.
Students were given these challenge sheets and expected to independently problem solve, while utilizing or learning basic building and programming skills. Students were allowed to ask for clarification of challenge expectations but could not ask for specific programming/build ideas to complete the task.
