Sphero Maze STEM Challenge
This free guide outlines how to guide your students to complete the programming maze challenge utilizing a Sphero robot and includes photos with examples. Students will use protractors and rulers to map out a course and program the robot to autonomously navigate.
This engineering robotics lesson is perfect for informal learning environments or a quick STEM activity to promote habits of mind and develop making skills.
Materials Needed:
- Sphero Robot such as BOLT+
- iPad, Tablet or Phone
- Worksheet
- Blank Paper
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Protractor
- Clipboards
- Painter’s Tape for marking maze
- Optional: Tri-fold board for maze (this makes it portable & reusable!)
