Description
Use this skit to make a presentation to the school about the robotics unit you are teaching. Though the skit refers to the LEGO Mindstorms NXT base set, it is generic enough to relate to any robotics program. Download the Word document and manipulate it as much as you like. Add students' names to the script, and even add or take away lines (includes two and one-third pages).
Concepts Addressed:
- Why robotics?
- What is a robot?
- Programs and Programming
- Robot Limitations
- What does download mean?
- What does it mean to "run" a program?
The Word document also includes these bonuses:
- Quote/Thought for the Day
- Link to a YouTube video that can follow the skit
