Experience
I have been teaching special education since 2004. I have experience working with elementary students in grades K-5 with a range of disabilites, including learning disabilities, autism, behavior disorders, and physical and mental disabilities.
Teaching style
I believe in using hands on methods to teach the student at their level. It is important for the students to be in charge of their learning to gain a sense of ownership and to recognize and to be proud of their growth and success.
My own education history
Bachelor's Degree in LBD from Murray State University
Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Assistive Technology from University of Louisville
