Description

Need a quick addition math center. Just print and go. Students will roll two or 3 dice, add them together, and follow the directions to decorate a snowman. First person to decorate the snowman wins. This can be used as a math center. This is a great math activity to go along with Sneezy the Snowman.

Represent addition and subtraction with objects, fingers, mental images, drawings, sounds (e.g., claps), acting out situations, verbal explanations, expressions, or equations.
Fluently add and subtract within 5.
Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. If 8 + 3 = 11 is known, then 3 + 8 = 11 is also known. (Commutative property of addition.) To add 2 + 6 + 4, the second two numbers can be added to make a ten, so 2 + 6 + 4 = 2 + 10 = 12. (Associative property of addition.)
