Description
This dice game enable students to write and create a list or mindmap of words beginning with the letters on the game board. This game is best played in groups of 2-3 but can also be used as as 1-1 activity.
Once students have rolled the dice, they move that many spaces on the board to the corresponding letter. They think of a word beginning with that letter, say it to the teacher, their partner or group before writing it down on a piece of paper/mini- whiteboard.
Teachers can use this resource as an introduction to an English lesson, revision of spelling words or a reading group rotation.
