Description

Inspired by all the fun roll-a-story activities on TpT, my student and I created a Roll-a-Math Word Problem version! Teachers everywhere have students work on word problems, but not many actually have their students write them! Have your students roll the dice to see what crazy choices they get, and then use writing skills to draft a word problem around the choices. Students can exchange word problems and solve each others'! Both a filled-in version, as well as a blank one for teachers and students to craft their own choices; with older students you can add in other math concepts: fractions, algebra, percents, ratios, etc. These also can be used as a math center. Have fun doing math AND writing! BONUS: There is a link to an editable version in Google Drive!
