Our "Roll a Rabbit,” “Roll a Chick,” and “Roll Some Carrots” freebies will be a fun way for your students to practice addition of two numbers while also celebrating Easter and the spring season with their peers!
Students should roll two dice, add the numbers, and then color in each section of the picture that shows the correct sum on it. Students can roll and color their own combinations each time or work together to roll, add, and color the same sum as their partner each time. Feel free to differentiate by having children roll two dotted dice, two numeral dice, or one numeral and one dotted die to add by counting on.
This freebie is great for working on Common Core math standards K.OA.1, K.OA.5, 1.OA.6, and 2.OA.2.
