Roll and Count is a place value/number order game from Math In Focus (Singapore Math) Grade 2, Chapter 1: Numbers to 1,000.
This recording sheet is created for students to use to track their work while playing alone or with a group.
(Directions are included)
Play simply with a recording sheet and 10-sided dice.
Students roll to create a three digit number and fill in a place value chart.
Then, they will write the number in standard form and expanded form.
Students find 1+/1-, 10+/10-, 100+/100- than their original number and document on their recording sheets.
Use in small groups or math centers. Use Base 10/Place Value Blocks to help students with the visual aspect of these operations.
