Root Words and Their Meaning - Task Cards with QR Codes -
***NOTE In order to use these cards, your students will need a mobile device, such as an ipad, that has a QR Scanning application installed on it (e.g., Kaywa Reader, QRreader, Qrafter).
This is a set of 40 task cards for students to learn the meaning of various root words. Students read the root word and then the sentence to provide them with context. They must then determine the meaning of the root word.
These cards can be used as a word work center, as small group work, or for a whole class activity.
Recording sheets and an answer key are included.
