Root Words Task Cards are a great set to learn or review root or base words! Root words are perfect for learning about how words are formed. There are 48 task cards included with a student answer card and teacher answer key. Also included is a set of clue cards for students to use, especially when they are still unfamiliar with all of the root words used. The following 24 roots are used throughout the root word task cards:

auto, bio, chron, duc/duct, dyna, form, fract, gram, graph, hydr, ject, jud, meter/metr, mit, nym, phobia, photo/phos, port, rupt, scope, scrib/script, spect, struct, and vid/vis.
