An excellent lesson on Rotation where students can learn to accurately draw images that result from rotating objects. A cart sort activity for starter to get students to familiarize with rotation and the Maths terminology used to describe the rotation. Also, answers are provided. Students will also learn the important Mathematical vocabulary to describe the rotations. Assessment materials to check for students understanding. Then, followed by the activity and worksheet for students to practice their rotation skill and drawing the rotation of an object. Extension is also provided to stretch the most able students (Rotations with different center points, transformation and directions). Lastly, plenary is also provided to summarize the learning and tests students understanding.
