Introduce or review rounding decimals with this math wheel/graphic organizer. The wheel serves as both a notes page and practice page.
- Students take notes, use color to help with memory, and complete practice problems found around the wheel.
- Students can keep this graphic organizer in their notebooks as a resource/study tool.
This easy-to-use rounding decimals resource includes:
- Student math wheel
- Teacher key/wheel with completed notes and examples
- Colored sample of wheel
Features of this easy-to-use resource:
- Notes sections and examples (notes are just suggestions, and you can alter them or use other examples that better fit your instruction if you’d like)
- Guided practice or individual practice: 20 problems in the pattern around the circle; students identify each property and then color the section according to the color code on the wheel. ** The color-coding gives you a quick way to determine whether they are identifying the properties correctly.
- Coloring/doodling opportunity: students can color the background pattern, as well as the headings and doodle arrows
