Description
Use place value understanding to round decimals to any place.
Students will learn:
1) Visual understanding of how to write place values on a number line and in place value charts
2) How to circle place values when rounding numbers and underlining numbers necessary that give the student the information they need to make a decision on rounding (4 or less let it rest. 5 or more round up)
3) Provides an intuitive understanding and practice of what rounding to nearest hundreds, hundredth, tens and ones means (Ending values for rounding to hundreds end in 0, 100, 200, 300 etc.
4) Visual models included for a UDL approach that lets students learn in multiple modalities.
