Rounding is often confusing when first introduced to students. This set of task cards, used along with the companion material on rounding rules can help with that!

The lessons in the companion material use visuals to aid in student understanding of the process of rounding integers and help them to see the "why" instead of just the rule.

This set of task cards can be used as a follow-up to that lesson to give your students practice in using the process of rounding.  

The cards start by using the process demonstrated in the companion product, then encourage students to do some of the steps mentally.

The set includes task cards with a key. It also includes a slide with the rules for rounding that could be printed and given to students for reference. At the end, there is a sheet of 4 number lines that could be printed and provided to students for use while working, and another sheet of three that could be printed, cut, and laminated for students to keep and use. 

Note: Students should have been introduced to Integers prior to doing these task cards.
