This worksheet was made to support students who are struggling to create the number lines needed to conceptualize rounding. It builds increased independence as students work through each problem, having them analyze number lines that are already created, scaffolding number lines with select empty spaces, and then creating and explaining how to create number lines on their own from scratch.

It can also be used as a review, for quick distributed practice after a place value and rounding unit is completed.
