Help your math students keep their math thinking organized with this rounding and comparing organizer. This organizer is perfect for students who struggle with executive functioning, organizing their numbers and math writing, or who struggle with multi-step processes. The first page of the organizer includes a saying to remember rounding rules and two separate place value tables; one for students to write the original number and another for them to write the rounded number.   

The second page of the organizer provides students tips for remembering inequalities and the starting place when comparing large numbers.  There are two separate place value tables for students to write in the numbers to be compared.  They can draw between the digits in each place value to aid their thinking.  

Use Suggestion:  When using this organizer, put it in a plastic paper protector and provide students an expo marker and eraser.  It will allow them repetitive practice without the need for additional copies.
