"This was a fun lab that my students enjoyed doing. They got really competitive with one another and was a good way to introduce them to data collection and graphing. "

Description

Students will use Ruler Drop Lab to measure and compare their reaction times of their dominant vs. non-dominant hand.

May be used to measure speed of reflexes for nervous system content or for scientific method--I have done both.

Requires students to graph data.

I had seen this done before in middle school science rooms, but I needed something short and sweet. This was perfect. My kids really liked completing this, and they were able to follow it easily. Thank you!
