The Rumors Lesson begins with the classic game of Telephone Pictionary, setting the stage for students to explore how information can transform as it passes through different channels. There are 10 different Telephone Pictionary prompts provided. Students need to be organized in groups with 6-10 students in each group for the Telephone Pictionary activity.
The Rumors Lesson then moves on to read and discuss 6 different quotes related to rumors. Finally, the Rumors Lesson concludes with a group discussion guide that encourages students to reflect on the impact of rumors in their lives and society.
