This packet includes simple independent assessments for students to complete within the first few days of school. The assessment seems difficult for students at this point in the year, but this will give the teacher an idea of which students know what and plan for interventions and instruction. There are also four more assessments that go along with this packet. They are very similar but the level of difficulty increases. This is a way to show student growth and progress throughout the year and the best part about it is there is no one on one instruction. The students do it independently. All you have to do is review it and learn what your students know and don't know!
