What is this resource?

This is a great SEL Lesson that emphasizes the importance of including others.

How to use:

  1. Project the slides and have students follow the prompts.
  2. Read aloud (if you have Invisible Boy by Patrice Barton) or click the picture of the book to take you to the Youtube book read-aloud.
  3. Split students into groups of 3-5 to brainstorm what it feels like, looks like, and sounds like to INCLUDE and EXCLUDE someone. 
  4. Take students' ideas and create an anchor chart.
