Description
SLIP is a letter and sound identification program that teaches the letters through systematic repetition. This packet includes lessons for lowercase letters. I created it to help my students who were struggling to learn their letter names and sounds at even a week per letter pace. I have used SLIP in my own classroom with students with Developmental Delays, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, and Down Syndrome. Each lesson is set up to allow the student to be successful and have multiple opportunities to say and point to the letter or sound.
SLIP lessons are at the students pace and can generally be done in 5-10 minutes. SLIP can be used as an intervention tool or as the main curriculum for teaching letters and sounds.
This program is easy to use and has data sheets already included!
If you love Edmark but are needing something for your student's who aren't ready for words yet, this is your program!

This has been a great way to track a student that makes very slow progress. It is perfect for the student that is just not picking up their letters. I love the organization.
I like that this is similar to the PCI Reading Program. It works very well with my students with autism who are learning letters.
