Description
SLIP is a letter and sound identification program that teaches the letters through systematic repetition. This packet includes lessons for uppercase letters. I created it to help my students who were struggling to learn their letter names and sounds at even a week per letter pace. I have used SLIP in my own classroom with students with Developmental Delays, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, and Down Syndrome. Each lesson is set up to allow the student to be successful and have multiple opportunities to say and point to the letter or sound.
SLIP lessons are at the students pace and can generally be done in 5-10 minutes. SLIP can be used as an intervention tool or as the main curriculum for teaching letters and sounds.
This program is easy to use and has data sheets already included!
