***Adapted parent-teacher form from: More Time 2 Teach:)
I'm excited to use this new form! I'm frequently asked by parents for ideas to extend therapy targets~ a 15 minute conference is just not enough time to "teach" parents all the ways language acquisition can be facilitated outside of the educational environment! I've compiled a list to help :)
Handy talking points to facilitate the flow of parent-teacher conferences
Please let me know what you think about it, if you have any additional suggestions or comments to improve it!
Includes: student strengths and weaknesses and home speech and language activity checklist covering many articulation and language needs (following directions, sequencing, grammar, vocabulary, etc.)~ a blank "other" section can be utilized for less frequent needs. I also utilized the remaining space on the last page for parents to take personal notes.
I am planning on checking off the main targets and verbally highlight that the remaining list can serve as a nice platform for additional language activities.
