Description

This product is also available in my Goal Setting Bundle!

Looking for a way to actually teach what SMART goals are, while also giving students time and space to set, track and reflect on their goals? How about doing this while not giving up an excessive amount of classroom time?

This mini unit is designed to give students a system for planning and executing their own SMART goals. You'll teach students how to write an academic SMART goal in about 20 minutes. Then, the onus is on the kids: they will craft their goal(s), track their progress, and reflect at the end of an 8 week (quarter) period.

What you'll get:

  • Teacher notes to ensure simple and seamless instruction
  • PDF PowerPoint to teach & provide guided practice for creating a solid SMART goal
  • Student handouts for SMART goal brainstorming, writing, data tracking, and reflection
  • Rubrics for the initial SMART goal and end-of-quarter reflection
