This digital interactive poetry notebook includes teacher instructions (GoogleDrive and Microsoft OneDrive) and a link to 39 slides of poetry resources. This digital interactive poetry notebook unit includes poetry terms, famous poets, and even a place for students to write and create their own digital poetry portfolios.

Included poetry terms: alliteration, allusion, assonance, close rhyme, couplet, figurative language, foot, hyperbole, imagery, iamb, internal rhyme, metaphor, meter, mood, motif, onomatopoeia, personification, refrain, repetition, rhyme, simile, stanza, symbol, tone, and verse.

Included Poems: Dreams by Langston Hughes, Do not go gentle into that good night by Dylan Thomas, Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost, and The Oak by Alfred Lord Tennyson.

Types of Poetry Included: Acrostic, Ballad, Blank Verse, Cinquain, Concrete Poem, Diamante, Elegy, Epic, Free Verse, Haiku, Limerick, Lyric, Ode, Sonnet, Tanka. (Students define these and provide their examples)
