Description

This set of 10 task cards reviews the number and number sense strand of the VA SOLs. It hits on the essential skills covered in SOLs 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3.

Each question has a QR code that can be scanned with a QR reading app on an iPad or other device. One iPad can easily be shared amongst a group of students because it is only needed for checking the answer. One way to structure this math station is to pair students within the station, have them check each other, and let their partner know to try again or move to a new question.

Some questions require students to generate their own answer, as a fill in the blank TEI would have them do. Others are multiple answer/ choose all style questions, similar to the hot spot TEIs that they will see.

A student recording sheet is included, along with an answer key.

I just checked through it and did not find any mistakes. If you can clarify for me which questions you think are wrong, I will look one more time. Feel free to email me at katie.tulloss@gmail.com if that's easier than working through here.
