I have found that even my second graders have a hard time doing addition and subtraction problems because they don't have basic number sense. I created this and it has helped IMMENSELY! As a class we sit together and I play the slide show. When a slide comes up they shout the number or I say "doubles" and they double the number. There are so many ways to use this to help your students gain those critical visuals in their heads and to be shown a variety of ways to solve a problem.
