Welcome! I'm a first-grade teacher in Southern California with 12 years of classroom experience and a passion for helping young learners become confident readers. I am trained in the Science of Reading and create resources that align with evidence-based literacy practices and structured literacy instruction.
My goal is to provide engaging, teacher-friendly activities that support foundational reading skills while making learning meaningful and fun for students. This is a cute end of the year craft where students write about their favorite memory. There are suns for grades k-3. Just updated with a new design! Instructions- 1. run sun pattern on yellow construction paper 2. Run rays for sun on orange and yellow 3. Each students get 4 yellow and 4 orange rays 4. Students will glue rays around the sun. I use this craft every year for our open house and have hung them from our ceiling. It's a hit! Hope you enjoy!!!
