STAAR Reading Question Stems is a set of questions that allows students to get familiarized with the wording and academic language found on the STAAR Reading. The questions are designed to be used as a gallery walk or station rotation for students, but some teachers may opt to project the questions on a document camera or use in a presentation style medium to show the students how to approach the question. Aside from presenting the questions, the only thing the teacher has to do is supply the reading passage—the questions will lend themselves to any type of reading passage found on the state assessment.
