STAAR strategies can be so hard to enforce! So I came up with this simple sticker chart for my classroom.
Each kiddo gets a chart for their desk.
If I see them using their strategies effectively on their reading passage or math problems, I give them a sticker.
For each chart they fill up they get a prize.
AND for every 5 charts they fill up they get an even BIGGER prize!
The kiddos are loving this and are showing more strategies, which in turn has brought their grades up!

What's included?
Two sticker charts on one page. Print them on tag/cardstock paper, cut down the middle, tape on their desks. The strategies that I use are listed on the right side. This way they have no excuse for not using them while doing their work!
