S.T.E.M. Building Challenge Cards!
This set of 80 cards will challenge your students to ‘think outside the box’ and get creative in order to build the object shown on the card.
I wanted a collection of cards showing objects with different angles, lines and shapes. A variety of materials should be provided - you will be amazed at what kids will accomplish when given a creative licence and a wide assortment of materials.
They may not even realize they are doing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math!
• Print, cut and laminate for extended classroom use.
• Attach them to binder rings and store them with your STEM supplies!
• My list of supplies is included but there are certainly more materials you could add to this list!
2 Posters are also included to use at your area assigned for STEM activities.
☼ Saving them for fast finishers usually means that some kids will get to do them often and some, never at all. That's why many teachers like to use these types of activities as part of 'Fun Fridays' or regular science stations. New vocabulary will also be learned along the way!
Student Recording Sheet;This will help keep students accountable for their work and help focus their thoughts as they plan, design, construct and improve their creations. You can decide how often to use this page according to your learners.
