STEM project for younger grades with a focus on the scientific method and simple machines.

This packet includes
- directions for how I use this product in my classroom
- sample materials students can use
- 2 sets of 3 pages of recording material sheets to guide students through the activity

The two different versions are the following:
- testing two different catapults
- testing the distance based on two different sized marshmallows

Laid out in a simple format that students should be able to follow with little guidance.

Used this as a project in my science unit about simple machines. Students loved using what they knew and the materials from this STEM challenge to problem solve and make something work that resembled a catapult.
