Description
In this coding activity students will draw a QR code by hand. This is a QR code blank template for version 2 QR codes. Students will fill the squares in to draw a QR code.
Get creative with it: Any color can be used to color in the dark squares, however, a dark color is better as it will contrast more with the white squares (think dark blue, dark green, etc.).
How to use:
- Find a QR code for a website link (one option is to use a free online QR code generator to generate the QR Code for a website link).
- Recreate the QR code by coloring in the corresponding squares in this template.
- Take a picture of the completed QR code drawing with a phone to prove that it works!
Where to use:
- Tech Ed
- Maker Space
- Home Room
- STEM Classes (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
- Computer and Coding Classes
- Hour of Code
- Enrichment for Early Finishers
