This product is a project focusing on conservation in ecology. The students are asked to identify a problem within an ecosystem, research, analyze data, create a solution to the problem and produce a visual representation of that solution. This project is very STEM-minded and requires students to think critically and problem solve- all the STEM things you want your students to accomplish! Included is a grading rubric for the project, group member contracts, project checklist, and a peer feedback form.

TIP: I have my students present their projects as a gallery walk as if they are presenting their projects to a panel. I pair this with the other science classes and we take turns visiting each others' classrooms. This is a great way to get them speaking.
