This product is to be used before and after doing the STEM Index Card Stacking Challenge. It includes questions for students to complete BEFORE they do the challenge, and a reflection page for them to complete AFTER doing the challenge. In this particular challenge the students are only allowed to use index cards to make their free standing tower.

I used this for my ELL/Approaching students during summer school.
Great ice breaker for the beginning of the year. Gets students working in groups and problem solving to compete to build the biggest one.
My students loved this stem, it was very engaging even the children that don't like to participate did. I would recommend this activity for everyone. It helps with team building, leadership skills and communication.
