Today you are an astronomer who just finished a brilliant study on space and are creating a website to display your findings. You will conduct research on a space-related topic of your choosing and record information such as the formation, evolution, composition, lifespan, mass, etc of your topic on a personally designed Google Website.
Technology/Art - TikTok Time
You are an Advertising Director creating a commercial for a product. You will be using either an online video creator or the TikTok app itself to create a 30 second commercial. Your commercial should provide enough information for an audience who has never heard of the product to understand what it is and what purpose it serves. Your commercial should be captivating and memorable! Time to be creative!
Engineering - Water Park
You are a Civil Engineer hired to design and construct the first local town water park! You must follow the engineering design process to gather sufficient materials, plan out your design, and build a water park with multiple leakproof slides that meet a few key constraints and are constructed out of only materials found lying around your house.
Math - Deal or No Deal (Probability)
You have been selected to be a contestant on the TV show “Deal or no Deal!” You have a chance to win $1,000,000… although your chances are slim. You will need to use your knowledge of probability to outsmart the banker and make your decision each round to take the deal or continue playing!
Business - Shark Tank
Today you are an entrepreneur Preparing to go on Shark Tank and pitch your new product to the Sharks. You need to create a unique product and a business proposal (Pitch) that will persuade the Sharks to invest in your business. As you create your project, think about the episode clips of Shark Tank from the previous pages. What products did the sharks invest in? What products did the sharks reject? Why? Keep that in mind as you plan.
