You are an Anthropologist - a scientist who studies societies and cultures - who has been assigned to study and become an expert on a country of your choosing. You will discover everything there is to know your country including their culture, history, language, religion, cuisine, and traditions before reporting your findings on your very own App. You will be using a Google Slides template to create the app and learn how to incorporate link features to create an interactive experience.
Technology/Art - My Life in a (Digital) Nutshell
You are a designing a 21st century About Me poster entirely online. You will use a website called Padlet to create a digital wall that encompasses everything there is to know about you and your life. You can include anything you’d like from pictures and videos to drawings or music and anything else you desire!
Engineering - Edible Replica
You are an Architect designing a miniature replica of a famous structure… made ENTIRELY out of EDIBLE objects. You will choose your structure from a list, gather edible materials from your house, plan out your design, then build it! Time to be creative! You can only use what you have in your house and it MUST be EDIBLE! The bigger and more elaborate, the better.
Math - Hollywood Stars
Being famous sure has its perks… one of which is usually a big paycheck… but if anyone could do it, everyone would. Singers, Actors, Influencers, Athletes, YouTubers, and Gamers seem to be some of the most fame producing professions these days with an incredible salary ceiling. In this project, you will use probability and statistics to discover the odds of actually making it successfully in one of these professions of fame and how much money they actually make for each song, game, post, download, view, movie, etc.
Business - Shark Tank
Today you are an entrepreneur Preparing to go on Shark Tank and pitch your new product to the Sharks. You need to create a unique product and a business proposal (Pitch) that will persuade the Sharks to invest in your business. As you create your project, think about the episode clips of Shark Tank from the previous pages. What products did the sharks invest in? What products did the sharks reject? Why? Keep that in mind as you plan.
