Description
Have your students create their own flying bat! I wrote a simple song that you can sing before doing this activity. I like to use this in the fall around October ....or any time that we are reading about bats or nocturnal animals.

This was such a fun STEM activity used during my nocturnal animals unit! Thank you!
My students had so much fun working on their bats! They love anything hands on and we have been working on incorporating more STEM activities into our learning.
LOVE this activity! Goes wonderfully with Stellaluna, Bats at the Beach or other fiction/nonfiction books about bats and keeps the students engaged, interested, and learning as it reinforces concepts and skills taught. Perfect to use as a substitute lesson too.
