This is a fun resource to go with an activity or lesson where students may not be able to interact with you as much. As you are teaching, they are able to write down what they think. At the end, students have been able to keep up with what they thought and share these reactions with the whole class, their group, or a partner. Can be used with sticky notes, paper, index cards, or a dry erase board!

As students are learning something new, place the Sticky Note Reactions Key on the board. Instruct them to place a sticky with what they are thinking on the page they had the reaction or with a keyword to remind them.

At the end of the lesson, class, or experiment have students describe what they were thinking as they were learning and to elaborate with a partner.
